Night VFR Training Approval

As a CASA approved Flight Instructor this course will enable you to conduct Flight Training for the issue of a Night VFR Rating. This means you will conduct flight training between last and first light in Visual Meteorological conditions. This course consists of both in flight training and in class theory. All course components are CASA accredited to give you the confidence you need to train the next up and coming Night VFR pilot. If you don’t yet hold an instructor rating, please refer to our G3 Instructor Rating course for qualification requirements.

Prerequisites: minimum of CPL, Flight Instructor Rating, Night VFR Rating or Instrument Rating, 20hrs Aeronautical Expereience at Night

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of your Night VFR Training Approval, you will be qualified to conduct flight training and theory for a Night VFR student who already holds a RPL, PPL or CPL. This will allow you to build night PIC hours, while teaching someone else to fly and navigate at night.
